Founded in 2010 by eyewear designer Yu Imaizumi, Ayame's sunglasses are individually handmade by skilled craftsmen in Sabae City, Japan, the world-renowned epicenter of high-quality eyewear manufacturing. Polished by hand, Ayame's sunglasses have a richer, glossier depth than most machine-made frames, with a certain weight and handle that makes them feel extra special. Their silhouettes are all instantly recognizable, each one a refined take on a classic style. We're proud to be one of only a few Ayame stockists outside of Japan.
