When designing a new sweatshirt for our in-house Trunk label, we knew we wanted to create something a little different from the usual cotton jersey styles already on offer. For us, it needed to be sturdy, well-made, sporty yet elegant, lightweight and comfortable. In the end, it was our favourite Italian knitwear partner who produced the goods.
The result is the Trunk Marsham, a breezy fine-gauge knit that combines the sporty details of a sweatshirt with the superior comfort and quality of your favourite knitted sweater. Crafted from lightweight organic cotton blended with 8% cashmere for a blissful softness, it features ribbed cuffs and hem for added durability, a reinforced neckline with a V-notch insert for a secure fit that prevents stretching, and is cut in a regular fit easy layering.
Newly launched for SS23, this latest iteration features a classic Breton-style stripe pattern for an added nautical feel that emphasises the aforementioned sporty details.
Whether worn with chinos or denim or draped casually over the shoulders with shorts and a T-shirt, we hope that the Trunk Marsham will be one of those functional and versatile pieces that are kept close at hand throughout the summer.
Available in classic navy and ecru stripe, as well as a dusty sage green, alongside our original all-navy version.
